Sikafloor 161 HC

Sikafloor®-161 HC is a two-component, low-viscosity, filler-containing multipurpose epoxy resin designed for priming, leveling, and bonding concrete and cementitious substrates. This solvent-free product is easy to apply and suitable for professional use. It can be used as a primer, mixing resin for leveling mortars, bonding layer, or base material for repair mortars, and is fully compatible with other Sikafloor® epoxy flooring systems such as 263 SL HC and 264 HC.

• Primer for concrete, cement mortar, and low- to medium-absorbency substrates
• Primer and intermediate layer for Sikafloor® epoxy flooring systems
• Binder for leveling mortar or resin mortar (adjustable with different particle sizes of quartz sand)
• Repair mortar or resin leveling layer

• High mechanical strength – cured hardness Shore D approximately 76, compressive strength approximately 60 N/mm², flexural strength approximately 30 N/mm².
• Chemical resistance – good resistance to a variety of chemicals (detailed chemical resistance list available upon request).
• Wide operating temperature range – short-term operating temperature up to +60°C, long-term stability.

Leveling mortar/scraping layer: 1.7 kg/m²/mm/1 pbw Sikafloor®-161 HC + 0.5 pbw silica sand (0.1 - 0.3 mm)

Adhesive layer: 0.3 - 0.5 kg/m²

Resin mortar (15 - 20 mm thick)/repair mortar: 2.2 kg/m²/mm/1 pbw Sikafloor®-161 HC + 8 pbw silica sand (by weight)
