Shell Flintkote 3

Shell Flintkote 3 is a single-component, non-fiber-reinforced, and highly stable water-based bitumen emulsion. After curing, it forms a strong yet flexible bitumen waterproof membrane suitable for both horizontal and vertical surfaces. It is widely used for waterproofing concrete, asbestos cement, roofing felt, asphalt mortar, tiles, and metal substrates.

 

Major Applications
  • Waterproofing - Concrete roofs, asbestos cement roofs, metal roofs, asphalt roof renovations, retaining walls, exterior walls, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, flower beds, etc.; also suitable for lining non-toxic water tanks.
  • Steam Barriers - Cold storage warehouses, mushroom houses, food warehouses, etc.
  • Concrete Protection - Prevents carbonation, peeling, and sulfate corrosion.
  • Metal Corrosion Protection - Anti-corrosion coatings for pipes, steel structures, and other metal equipment.
  • Timber End-Face Protection - Seals the surface of freshly cut timber to reduce moisture loss.
