OPTIMIX RM740 Repair Mortar (HKHA Class 40)

OPTIMIX RM740 Repair Mortar is a premium quality pre-mixed, shrinkage-compensated mortar made from selected cements, graded aggregates, lightweight fillers, polymers and special additives. When water is added, it readily blends to produce a medium weight mortar of good consistency for repair purposes. The low water demand of the mortar ensures high early strength and provides other important material properties for reinstatement of concrete elements. OPTIMIX RM740 fully complies with the requirements of HKHA Class 40 repair mortar system and is certified under "HKCI Product Conformity Certification Scheme for Repair Mortars (PCCS-RM)".

Major Applications

• Suitable for repairing concrete spalling caused by steel bar corrosion
• Suitable for local repair of common concrete losses such as hollowing and honeycombing
• Vertical and overhead structural or appearance repair
• Correct concrete defects and protect internal steel bars
• The repair position thickness is at least 10mm and a minimum 5mm thick separation layer is configured
• For vertical construction, the maximum thickness of each layer is 50mm
• For overhead construction, the maximum thickness of each layer is 40mm
