Advantages

• Specifically designed for sealing all materials sensitive to acids, plasticizers, marble, granite, sandstone, and quartz, its chemical properties prevent surface seepage or plasticizer slippage, avoiding staining of the surface material.

Technical Data

Mabel silicone sealant LM is a one-component, solvent-free, neutral-curing thixotropic paste silicone sealant that does not emit an unpleasant odor. It is easily applied to both vertical and horizontal surfaces and cures at room temperature through humidity, forming an elastic sealant. Areas sealed with mabel silicone sealant LM remain highly stable over long periods, even when exposed to harsh weather, industrial environments, temperature fluctuations, or submersion in water. This product maintains its elasticity within a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C. Mabel silicone sealant LM delays the formation of surface mold. Mabel silicone sealant LM generally exhibits good resistance to chemical reagents. However, due to the wide range of product and service terms, please conduct preliminary testing beforehand if in doubt. Mapei Silicone Sealant LM bonds perfectly to most types of substrates used in the construction industry without the need for a primer (including glass, ceramics, marble, aluminum, galvanized metal sheets, concrete, stainless steel, and PVC). For environments where prolonged immersion in water is permitted, a Mapei interface agent FD must be applied beforehand. Mapei Silicone Sealant LM is particularly suitable for acid-sensitive surfaces, where traditional neutral or acidic sealants can easily cause discoloration or staining of the substrate.
