Description

ADESILEX PG2

Mapei ADESILEX PG2 is a two-component thixotropic epoxy structural adhesive designed for structural engineering applications requiring extremely high strength and durability. Both products are EMICODE ECI Plus certified, exhibiting extremely low volatile organic compound emissions, meeting environmental and indoor air quality requirements.

 

Major Applications
  • Structural reinforcement, using steel plates or composite materials (such as carbon fiber boards) to externally reinforce beams and columns.
  • Precast component bonding.
  • Crack repair and sealing.
  • Waterproof joint treatment.

 

Advantages
  • High-strength structural bond, providing extremely high bond and mechanical strength (concrete-steel bond strength >3 MPa), suitable for reinforcement and repair of load-bearing structures.
  • Thick coating (up to 1 cm per layer) can be applied to vertical surfaces or ceilings without sagging.
  • No shrinkage hardening ensures bond stability.
  • Extremely low VOC emissions.

Application temperature range:from +10°C to +30°C

Complete hardening time: 7 days
